Elcentro California Weather
The city of El Centro asks everyone to stay at home and cooperate with the order issued by the state of California. This city in southeastern California is home to more than 1.5 million people and the largest city in Imperial County. A little south is the Imperial Valley Medical Center, known mainly for its assembly plant. El centro was the first city of its kind in Southern California and is part of the ElCentro metropolitan area that covers the entire Imperial County.
The area is somewhat temperate compared to tourist destinations around the world, but given the humidity, the temperature feels hot for half the year. In late January and early February, the chance of rain is good, and it is not the garden variety that emerges. Those who can't leave it well enough can expect severe weather in El Centro in the first weeks of February.

State Road 111 leads from Calexico to Mexicali, Mexico, and State Road 86 leads south to El Centro. El Centro has a desert climate and an average annual rainfall of less than 300 m per year. With a population of about 1.5 million people, it is the second largest city in the state of California and has one of the highest population densities of any city on the California coast.

The data shown was calculated relative to the peak, so a reading of 37.1 in October means 37.1 in April and 38.2 in July.
If you are looking for a very warm time to visit El Centro, the hottest months are August, July and September.
